About Us Dyson Currie is a family owned and operated timber wholesale company originally formed by Doug Dyson (dec.) and Ross Currie in 1978. Dyson Currie originally specialised in precision component docking for furniture manufacturers, which at the time was an industry first, before expanding into various areas. After working for over 40 years in the timber industry, Ross and his wife Bronwyn retired in 2004 and their son, Tim Currie and daughter, Peta Currie took over. Ross and Bronwyn’s grandsons Jack and Tom are also now an integral part of the day to day operations of the company. Dyson Currie has since significantly added more products and services to the business in order to maintain high standards along with meet and exceed customer expectations. As Tim and Peta continue to expand, the company’s market share now incorporates all aspects of timber usage. A large focus has been directed towards but not limited to dressed hardwood boards, architraves and jambs, primed F/J pine, pine boards, flooring and lining all made to order along with bulk lots all while maintaining a docking and machining facility. Dyson Currie is continually striving to improve products and services with the ultimate goal of being market leaders in genuine service and quality.
